Tour Plan
07:30 AM – Pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport and drive through the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning panoramas and photos.
Late morning – Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Begin with a game drive along the lake to see thousands of flamingos, pelicans and waterbirds and scan for black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lion and leopards among acacia woodlands. Don’t miss the panoramic views from Baboon Cliff.
Lunch – Enjoy a picnic or lodge lunch inside or near the park, afternoon continue game viewing through the park’s varied terrain. Late afternoon, depart Nakuru to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time to relax at your lodge. Evening, dinner and overnight at your lakeside accommodation
Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort or similar accommodation.
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
Early morning – After breakfast, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha. Watch hippos, water birds and fish eagles; crisp air across the water makes for beautiful photography.
Mid-morning – Boat out to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. You will walk amongst giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and antelope in a predator-free sanctuary.
Optional (if time allows) – Hell’s Gate National Park: Cycle or hike through dramatic gorges, geological formations, geothermal vents or grab a bike to ride into the gorge and enjoy the Maasai Cultural Centre.
Entry and bike rental are extra. After lunch, depart for Nairobi, arriving by mid-to-late afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
