Machame Route (8 days/7 nights)

Transfer to Machame Gate and begin ascent of Mt. Kilimanjaro via Machame Route. Today you will be transferred to the Machame Gate to beg climb. Depending on the weather this cam moderate to very demanding day as the tre through a beautifully lush rain forest. Overn mountain tents at Machame (3000m.)

A full day as you start early, leaving the forest and climbing a steep ridge for 3-4 hours. The pa drops into a gorgeous river gorge before you more gently up onto the moorland of the Plateau.

Today's 5-6 hours walk across the plateau has little net elevation, although there are up downs throughout the day. We'll enjoy sight of the typical Kilimanjaro Mountain vegetation and rewarding views of the spectacular Barranco Overnight camping in mountain tents at Ba (3950m).

The standard day includes about 6-8 ho trekking, up the Barranco Wall, then across and ridges to the Karanga Valley (4100m) before continuing up to Barafu Camp at e Overnight camping in mountain tents at Bara

You will rise around 2330hrs and after some biscuits, you will shuffle off into the night and head in a northwesterly direction and a through heavy scree towards Stella Point a crater edge.

After breakfast descend through the lower section that quickly turns into a rainforest. Your on Kilimanjaro ends at Kibololoni Gate where will be met and transferred back to Base Ho Moshi for dinner and overnight stay.
