Visit the Nairobi National Park only a few kilometers from the city center. Have a chance to spot at least 4 of the big five, only the elephant is absent. Gazzeted in 1946, the park features 46 square miles of pristine savanna and yet is only six miles from the city center. Bounded by Hippo pool, there are two animal orphanages: Daphne Shedrick Home for orphaned Elephants and Rhinos. Return to your hotel at the end of the tour.
Lunch or dinner at The Carnivore Restaurant, considered "Africa's greatest Eating Experience". The Restaurant serves every type of barbecue meat imaginable, including variety choices of wild game. Have a chance to taste the African "Punch" cocktail of drinks popularly branded as "Dawa" The garnish of music and entertainment gives you a serene haven environment.
The tour takes you to the Karen Blixen Museum situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills. The Museum was originally the home of Karen Blixen of the famous Out of Africa book & and film. This is combined with a visit to the Giraffe Center, an educational center and part of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife Conservations. The park has a small herd of Rothschild's Giraffe which are endangered species and you will get a chance to feed them. Also present are warthogs and a variety of bird life. Return back to the city/Hotel.
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley (Gregory Rift Valley) stopping along the way to marvel at the view of the escarpment at View Point). Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park for a mid-morning game drive. Proceed for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge/Lion Hill Lodge Another short game drive as you get out of the park with a visit at Lake Naivasha en route to Nairobi. Lake Nakuru is a serene haven of Birdlife. The park has quite spectacular wildlife sights, that of the flamingos and a variety of bird species as far as the eye can see. The best place to view the birds is from Baboon Cliff. Other wildlife includes the Black Rhino, Lions, Antelopes, and Wildebeests. Drive back to Nairobi to arrive in the Evening.
